2021 Basecamp 20X

The wait is finally over!  When the Basecamp was reintroduced in 2017 it quickly became one of the more popular Airstream models due to the fact that it gave adventurers a way to get out and explore while being able to bring the gear they needed.  In 2019 Airstream announced the Basecamp X Package which upgraded the Basecamp giving it a 3 inch lift with stainless steel rock guards and window guards which allowed for more off road travel.    In 2021, Airstream has just announced that the Basecamp is now available in a 20 ft floor plan!  The all new Basecamp 20 allows for more space while still giving you the same features as the 16 foot model.    

Some of the new features on the Basecamp 20 include 

• Exterior Length of 20'0" 
• 9" wider than the Basecamp 16
• 5" taller than the Basecamp 16
• 4,300 lbs GVWR (3,500lbs dry) 
• Both a Grey (28 gallon) and Black (21 gallon) tank while the Basecamp 16 has a combo tank
• 4.3 cu. ft. Electric refrigerator 
• The ability to sleep up to 4 with two separate sleeping areas
